To join a Zoom meeting, open up your meeting invitation. There will be a link to a meeting room. Clicking this will open up Zoom in a browser window.

If you are prompted to download Zoom software, click Yes or Accept and then Run.

You should make sure your computer speakers are working before joining a Zoom meeting.
