Blackboard’s Activity Stream helps you to stay on top of current and upcoming events within your courses. It displays reminders of items due, and notice of important actions such as announcements, messages, and the posting of grades. Accessing those assignments, messages, and grades is just a click away.

After logging into Blackboard, you will see a link to your Activity Stream located in the left side bar.

The Activity Stream organizes information in  four categories: Important, Upcoming, Today, and Recent. These items correspond with specific dates and automatically update. Within these categories, you can see what items need your attention and you access these activities with one click.

Customizing the Activity Stream is possible, allowing you to show or hide specific activities. Comprehensive information on customizing your Activity Stream can be found in the Blackboard Knowledge Base Article.
